Billionaires don’t become billionaires by being good people
And some millionaires. Musk and trump now have all the info on them to blackmail with. He’s a mob boss in real estate and casinos, of course he’s going to blackmail them.
I make art that’s totally mine because I did it through AI. https://imgur.com/a/Rhgi0OC

People are moving to Mexico too, they also have zero to low cost healthcare.
While those are great, I meant between the different activity pub apps.
I thought the president didn’t control the purse. How can this threat be followed through on?
Yeah, I live in Seattle. You can’t throw a rock without hitting one. I sometimes forget what a bubble it is.
Tell all of your wealthy friends that Musk/Trump has all of their social security, address, work history, salaray history, etc. in their hands, right now.
Thank you! Insert “duh” meme.
Am I not getting something? Why is it a bad idea or do I need the /s, lol
So, I watched the whole thing and they mentioned castopod (podcasts) and owncast (live streaming). He also mentioned hashtags to find what you’re looking for. Is there a search engine for across the fediverse? For example, that would be amazing to go there and find hashtags from pixelfed and castopod and owncast even if they don’t communicate with each other. It’s not about instance finding, but about topic finding. That search engine would be the bomb or does it already exist?
We’re all laborers on this blessed day.
The global video game sector has emerged from a long “creative, craft” period to become “an industry like any other,” said Julien Pillot, an economist specialising in cultural industries.
Workers are “waking up with a hangover […] realising that they’ve become labourers just like anyone else,” he added.
Looks like Paramount gave in, but the others didn’t? I’m not sure about Twentieth Century Fox.
Having been one of under 10 people on the bad place getting people to mask up during the pandemic, it is absolutely positive to post about things. I provided proof from before the pandemic about how masks can help and which types. It was proof that saved lives and thank you to a little known mask company for posting that while unknowingly helping in the future.
You have to pick your battles and post only about what they’re doing and saying while acknowledging the following things:
They want to “The opposition party is the media,” Steve Bannon, who helped run Trump’s 2016 campaign, told PBS Frontline five years ago. “And the media can only — because they’re dumb and they’re lazy — they can only focus on one thing at a time.” So the solution, per Bannon? Overwhelm them.
“All we have to do is flood the zone,” he said. “Every day we hit them with three things. They’ll bite on one, and we’ll get all of our stuff done, bang, bang, bang. These guys will never — will never be able to recover. But we’ve got to start with muzzle velocity.”
I’ve never heard it. We must travel in different internet circles.
This is an old saying?
Who would trust what he says anyway? Even if Zelinsky thought it was a good idea, trump would never follow through.
just figured those were probably rogue contractors for dhl or whoever scamming recipients.
Nope:
“I am now stuck with $30,000 of items I can’t move across the border, the lifeblood of my business,” says Leslie Brown, the owner of a Canadian secondhand clothing company that sells to US shoppers on eBay and Poshmark. Yesterday, Brown published a blog post on Medium titled “Donald Trump Will Kill My Business.”
US customers who placed orders on shopping websites like the popular Chinese fast-fashion platform Shein have been particularly impacted, even if they made their purchases long before the tariffs were announced. They are now forced to either pay hefty fees—in some cases, more than the value of the items inside—or have their packages sent back.
The statement reads, “I am overwhelmed by—and grateful for—everyone who has written me to share their stories and express their support. Powerfully, this support has transcended political, racial, and even class divisions, as mail has flooded MDC from across the country, and around the globe. While it is impossible for me to reply to most letters, please know that I read every one that I receive. Thank you again to everyone who took the time to write. I look forward to hearing more in the future.”
I agree. People got charged 50 bucks tariffs on 10 dollar’s worth of items for a few days.
I had a friend that was living on a visa down there and paid $5 for their prescription no matter what it was. I don’t know if that’s universal though.
Also, the more I look at their wikipedia page, it seems like it’s a mix of private and public. I’m not sure I understand how it works, but it might be like medicaid in the US.
