One of my Indian friends said she felt invisible when visiting France. Apparently being stared at just for being a woman is common in India.

Address some of the issues. Like not having multiple similar posts, on different instances with similar named communities.
Also to reach critical mass, we need to keep posting. Addition of new apps such as Boost will also increase popularity
Yes!!! Complete change in general usage of the word.
True, I’d rather support Firefox as a browser and an organisation. Edge for pages that work best with Chromium engine
Same here. Edge gets a lot of bad rep, but I still prefer that over Chrome or Brave (due to its affiliation with crypto)
People in EU use mostly WhatsApp and Messenger, cuz most people don’t have iPhones
I think that might help, asking for volunteers. Segregating them based on their abilities (LinkedIn profile for instance). There are a lot of people who have a couple of hours a week they can spend for such a cause. Please check with your colleagues and see if asking for volunteers is possible.
Donating money is also an option, but in this economy, it’s not sustainable to donate significant sums on a recurring basis for most.
Cries in German
No, he’s not. Have you looked at commercial real estate especially around dedicated business districts in cities such as London, Paris and Frankfurt? Long story short, a lot of businesses (big ones such as HSBC) are moving to city centers and into smaller offices.
Angry baguette noises…
But yeah most houses in France don’t have a bidet. They wipe
When talking about messaging apps, you’ve to use the one that’s easiest to use even for the most noob tech person.
Signal uses phone number, because that’s how people generally communicate. It’s easy to use, setup. No privacy nightmares compared to WhatsApp, or security nightmares compared to Telegram (where E2EE is not even on by default). It’s open source, regularly audited and can be used on any device (no more proprietary green bubble nonsense). There’s still a market for Threema and Matrix, etc. It just never will be mainstream.
Currently the real estate market seems to be on very shaky grounds as developers have debts that they’re not being able to pay off. So bonds whose coupons are due are not being paid.
Chinese citizens generally pay up front a certain amount (or fully) long before they move into their apartments. This money is generally used to complete construction. But developers seem to have used this to buy other properties for construction, over leveraging themselves. And now that construction is wayyy behind schedule and the people still can’t move in, they’re refusing to pay their mortgages causing banks to pull back lending and become more strict with debt restructuring for developers.
Tldr: Way too many homes built for people who don’t want them. Lots of loans might be unpaid. Might affect other sectors.
Anyone else feel two massive countries (Russia and China) are lurching from serious crisis to crisis (war, economic slowdown) and just feels like the “I’m in Danger” meme?
I’m liking it so far. But given this is a federated replacement of Reddit, how does replication of communities work? Cuz there are multiple Technology or World News communities in different instances. Which one do we follow?
But unless you’ve kids you’re more likely to drop Disney+. Even the recent Marvel series are meh 😕. I just cancelled mine
Luxury handbags that cost $60k. Not just a handbag, but to diversify your investment and launder money.
OnePlus somehow never completely avoided issues. I remember on the 5 there was a display issue too.
I’ll be downvoted to hell for saying this. But in this event I think it’s better for you to upgrade to Win 11 or maybe even move to MacOS (mac mini is pretty cheap), though I don’t know if you’ll find your replacement apps.
I use Win for work (no choice there) and Ubuntu at home (just browse the net, and only browser applications).
