The switch 2 is basically confirmed, a lot of journalists claimed there was a behind-doors showcase of it to people in the industry showing Zelda running a lot smoother.
I think everyone will be happy if it’s just the Switch again with higher specs. Backwards compatibility sounds great.
Watch it be more expensive than the steam deck as well.
His wind up weapon deals a lot of damage if you can hold it over an enemy long enough. Normally though you’d want to hook someone, apply a bomb, then uppercut. That alone can deal 50%+ of an enemy’s HP, and having teammates with you can almost guarantee a kill.
They did nerf his ultimate twice in a row though, so I imagine the winrate will go down a lot.
Bebop having a lower winrate is crazy to me, because on first look he feels like the most powerful character in the game. Huge burst potential, and a single hook can win a team fight.
I finished Nine Sols last month and I can’t recommend it enough. Aside from being a great metroidvania all around: great art, great music, great combat… I was most surprised by how good the story is. The world they built is really cool. Also, it’s currently on sale. Would recommend.
This is basically an average LinkedIn post from any manager
It’s made by the developers of Spelunky and Downwell, which are well-regarded game designers. Really looking forward to it.
I’ve been meaning to pick it up but I heard it was buggy last I checked. I might wait more on it (patient gamer and all that).
FF14 has taken over most of the MMO hype, but plenty of others like Runescape and Path of Exile are also doing really well. It’s just that if you don’t have people you know actively playing them, you won’t hear much about it.
So basically “there weren’t enough mean spirited reviews on Cosmic so I’ll write my own”. The OP can say he doesn’t like it without making fun of the fanbase and trashing the company for checks notes reporting people’s positive experiences.
Sooo… Cosmic is for the tiny sliver of users that want a DE… that tiles? Or those that buy a System76 machine and never change the DE?
Those that are fed up with GNOME and/or are looking for an alternative DE are a huge chunk of the Linux userbase. That’s literally why they created it. With Gnome reducing customizability and having 5-year old bugs never get fixed and breaking necessary extensions every update, it was warranted.
it feels like the developers are already riding on the endorphins from all the praise and forget their software is after all in a rough state.
Why? They have public milestones and bug trackers while things seem to move at a good pace. At no point are they just sitting on praise doing nothing.
Excluding the game name from the title will surely help the developer
Having a unicode icon that can be copy pasted anywhere is nifty, but yeah I’m really not a fan of choosing this one.
Good post. I’ve been on Lemmy for a while (jeez, look at my account stats) but Mbin is starting to look more mature lately, especially with the fact that it works with Mastodon.
“One final chance” as if he didn’t already get a dozen final chances to stop lying lol
It’s private if you run it locally
I love the front-ends as well but it feels like every Lemmy update breaks something there. Alexandrite still hasn’t updated to 0.19.5 (since most instances are still on 0.19.3 due to image caching issues), and upvotes/downvotes still don’t show up in my instance.
I guess this means it won’t work on older cards. I wonder if this will work on Nvidia cards too or if it’ll be AMD-only tech.
