I’m going to be honest here, it doesn’t sound like you even really know what you want. Annoying coworkers are an inevitable part of adult life. I have had a lot of jobs at many different companies, and you just learn how to fake nice and play as little of the office politics that you can. The best thing for you, I think, would be finding a remote job if that’s possible. There are a ton of remote positions now a days and that’s the best way to not have to interact with other people, save for zoom meetings.
I am an account manager in the SaaS (software as a service) world. I’ve been doing it about 10 years now, the last 4 have been fully remote. It’s a really easy job for the most part, I mainly just watch movies in the background all day. You just have to be good at time management and talking with clients/running meetings. I currently make around 6 figures doing this job. The best way to get into this is not glamorous, but I’d recommend starting in customer service which I think is pretty much remote these days. You may also take a pay cut starting out, not really sure what it pays nowadays, but it’s the best way to get into doing it without having a degree.
Was on Reddit for 11+ years. Apollo for the last few years. Quit cold turkey in June and honestly my life is better for it.
As someone who hasn’t sailed the 7 seas since PB and BitTorrent days. Is there a good guide on how to best utilize this now a days?
I literally pay for every single streaming service + YouTube tv and it’s ridiculous. Time to cut the cables again.
You either die a Frodo, or live long enough to become a Gollum.
Oh it’s the same here in the US. I had to spend weeks fighting with insurance that I actually was diabetic and needed it. It’s a “fashionable” drug so it was hard for the people who actually need it to get it.
As someone who is diabetic, and took Ozempic, yea I lost weight. However I was visit-the-hospital sick for 5 weeks. Yes my A1C went down, but at the cost of not being able to eat, drink, or sleep for weeks on end. I will never ever take that medicine again.
Is there another way than just going back and forth and manually putting them in?
The price of everything is unsustainable.
Let’s see those train pics, my dude! Let that conductor-freak flag fly here.

Jeff Buckley Ella Fitzgerald Edith Piaf
Also a killer songwriter. His side project, Bad Books has a song called “Pyotr”, and it’s an incredible song.
I got into to Brandi Carlile because I kept hearing her songs and not knowing it was her. Each time I thought “damn, this is really good”, looking up the song and each time it was Brandi Carlile. That happened 3 times and I finally decided it was time to start listening to albums.
Silo is fantastic. If you need another great show on Apple TV, watch Severance. It’s the best show I’ve seen in years.
Not me personally, but my grandpa was transferred out of Pearl Harbor a week before the attack. I often think about how some random person’s decision that many years ago created my entire family line.
Never heard it put quite like that.
