I agree, less than half can mean nearly anything less than half.

It’s a bad choice of words for that reason alone, too open to interpretation.

Nearly half is more constricted and reasonably really close to half to interpret.

That must be one rock solid relationship.

My friends love it, but two hours in, I just feel worn.

Then I just drop it and never look back.
