A really superb tool I’ve been using for a long time is the Soggfy desktop client. To use it you have to listen to a song in full, then it will save a .ogg file to your PC. Supports 320kb/s and it automatically tags files and downloads artwork.

Yep we just have to keep at our cardio :P
Yeah I realized that as I was typing it. Our population grew so damn fast. Granted, three million or so of those don’t have citizenship or permanent residency, and are a rotation of temporary students or workers. A lot are expected to leave (a lot are also expected to becomes PRs).
3/4 people resisting is probably a pipe dream anyway, so 30 million dissidents from Canada alone isn’t likely in a worst case Ontario.
He also hasn’t considered the destruction that 30 million occupied dissidents (from a country known for their prolific war crimes) can unleash on their oppressor.

A tool that uploads and updates videos across multiple platforms while syncing descriptions, tags, etc is something that would be incredibly handy for creators while also being something that PeerTube could piggyback off of. “Why not upload my video to another platform I’ve never heard of? It can only lead to more exposure.”
I believe that, just like RSS feeds did not become mainstream while Reddit did, the current state of the fediverse will not gain mainstream popularity; however, it’ll serve as a stepping stone towards a new federated internet that’ll be seamless and intuitive for non-technically-inclined individuals and those who are indifferent to the implications for privacy and digital freedom.
