Depending on the state, yes actually.
I did time in a medium security facility that also did sex offender treatment (I was there on drug charges). I still have friends that went through that program.
The men who were actually invested in getting better, got better. The ones invested in staying well, are still well.
Cannot or will not?
I hope it pans out for machine learning.
I kept a dream journal every night for over a year. Meditated extensively during that time. And rarely looked at a screen. Prison gives you a lot of free time.
I’ve also explored the closes eye visual space in drug induced lucid states extensively.
This time article aligns with my understanding of Busdhisms Six consciousness model.
https://time.com/5925206/why-do-we-dream/
In Western language, we would call the eye consciousness the visual cortex. When our eyes are closed, and we’re in a relaxed state, we can see muscle memory practicing. Dreams. Visions if in an awake lucid state.
The visual cortex stays active when our eyes are closed. Otherwise it only takes an hour for other senses to start recruiting those neurons.
My dreams tend to be emotionally charged. So, dreams are, in my experience, a combination of the visual cortex doing busy work and unresolved emotional stuff if it’s there, or fun joyful stuff, if I’m feeling joy.
I don’t know that it has a ‘purpose’ other than busy work and keeping the cortex wired together. It can be put to purpose, such as dream journaling and deeper self awareness.

You really live in an imperial bubble.
Colonial capitalism captures countries in one way or another and keeps wages depressed in those countries so that the finance sector can extract wealth. Non-wealthy people in the imperial core live in relative privilege off the table scraps.
Your argument only works when you forget about the rest of the world and discount imperial hegemony.
China is way ahead on this kind of automation.
Athletes should have their DNA made public information so you can gamble? This is really your position? That a person’s DNA should be public so you can profit off of it? Would you be cool with a boss doing this to you or your family?
And if phenotype is what’s important, your female - male pheno is already competing as a male FYI.
Fascist appropriating culture to promote their fascist agenda is nothing new.
That’s quite possible and something I hadn’t considered. Thanks.
I love rogue likes, love ninja turtles, and find straight forward beat em ups not that fun.
So I’m really looking forward to this one.
I appreciate the information!
Okay, in which case the flu pandemic is also not over. (According to the WHO article). And comparing deaths in less than a year (400k) with deaths over three and a half (700k) is a fun way to manipulate statistics
And, I’m going to watch the Harrisburg speech. Because I can’t find a transcript and I suspect the twitter quote is as bullshit as your COVID one (which is bullshit because if you use quotation marks, you need to quote somebody, not put words in their mouth and take it out of context). I’ll report back in an hour.
Edit: He did say he ended the pandemic. That is some serious hubris I admit. Not like Trump doesn’t have hubris in spades but you do you.
Do accute infections give false negatives on home tests? Partner just got over it and I have no idea how I didn’t catch it.
I’m vaccinated and boosted, but so is she. And the first day or two of symptoms we didn’t realize it was COVID. So, I had a lot of exposure.
Any advice would be appreciated. Long COVID would suck!
My partner just had it. The spin on this is funny though. Testing yourself after an exposure to be sure you don’t spread it isn’t an abundance of caution. It’s just par for the course for anyone that’s not an asshole.
Acevedo said Harris was tested for Covid-19 on Saturday “out of an abundance of caution” and the result was negative.
The quotes make me think this is a sarcastic comment about Trump supporters rather than an attack on the president. But if I’m wrong, here’s the quote.
“The pandemic is over,” he said. “We still have a problem with COVID.”
Emphasis mine.
