Yes, with more idiots in the congregation.
Yes, with more idiots in the congregation.
Odd, I seem to remember reading the exact same headline in 2020. Perhaps Americans just hate life in America because of 60 years of nonstop existential bullshit.
The downward spiral of education, the constant fight or flight news cycle, and the rise of the unfettered oligarchy have vastly contributed to the current state of America.
I’m reminded nearly every day of Carl Sagan’s “foreboding” quote from “The Demon-Haunted World”.
I agree on everything except that once a person reaches the age of reason, they can no longer blame their upbringing for their mental inadequacies, barring any real mental disability. At some point people have the ability to think for themselves — they simply choose not to because humans, like electricity, follow the path of least resistance.
At that point they are responsible for their own education, bigotry, and hatred.
That’s hard to say…let’s go with “gatorcane”.
So then their god can stop the hurricane and the democrats, right? 🤣
Someone better be polishing the Darwin Awards.
I adore you. Haven’t laughed this hard in a while.
It’s simple really. Be honest and reasonable to the judge, and they will likely be reasonable back especially if this is a first offense. Give only as much information as requested, though, never offer information unless you’re certain it won’t be used against you.
It’s the most toxic instance I’ve ventured into (and admittedly have this account on). People spread lies and vitriol here about as much as Twitter and Reddit.
Ha! See?
Because idiots listen to him.
I have empathy for people who have empathy themselves. Many of voters in Florida elected these morons, they’re not held hostage except to their own inability to critically think. The elected officials gerrymandered, put judges in place that don’t strike the gerrymandering down, and then the rest of us have to show empathy toward them? Yeah, no.
Sure, for those who are intelligent and didn’t vote for these assholes, I feel bad for them and wish them well.
But clearly much of Florida’s population asked for this — so to those people, you reap what you sow.
That’s a shame. Thoughts and prayers.
Price controls are the only viable solution if monopolies aren’t broken up and if collusion is rampant effectively removing competition. While I know of no direct evidence While I do not know of any direct evidence of collusion between grocers, the effects seem quite clear to me when nearly every grocer seems to be taking in record profits while many groceries are still 2-5 times higher than just five years ago.
Also, if this issue is the litmus test for some people on whether they would vote for Trump over Harris, those people should have their head examined. While Harris lacks some specifics here, Trump has nothing — plus he’s a lying, misogynistic, sociopathic convicted felon — so yes, I agree, Harris is the obvious choice.
Edit> Word change to more accurately represent my intent.
Yeah people against unions tend to leave out the important bits. It’s a car salesman trick and clearly it’s not working.
I mean literally every privacy advocate, doctor, and simple critical thinker knew what effect overturning Roe would have. It takes a while for someone with a spine to stand up to the obvious infringement of privacy rights — but we all knew what the major problems would be, years in advance of Dobbs.
Georgia is such a shit state, filled with so many shit people. I hope to get the hell out of here as soon as is feasible.
Oh, my mistake. I didn’t mean to offend anyone’s sensibilities where Musk would get exactly what he deserves. But thanks for making me a better person.
Thank you for your efforts. I’m in GA and proudly voted for Harris. Doing my part as well, one week will tell if it made any difference.
