A 16-year-old employee died Friday at a Mississippi chicken processing plant, a county official said. Mar-Jac Poultry said the teen died from injuries suffered in what it described as an “accident” in an emailed statement to CNN.
The chain starts off talking about children. A lot of children commuting internationally to MS these days? Are we granting work visas to children all of a sudden? First generation doesn’t mean migrant. Migrants cross the border to work but live in their home nation.
Migrants are people who migrate.
“Migrant worker” has a specific meaning.
