I didn’t know there’s a console with the floppy and disc drives. And it’s missing the stand piece but I’m satisfied overall. I haven’t powered it on yet because I want to test the power supply and give it a good cleaning first.

Yeah, the power button was on the console was well. The tower could sit under the desk and out of the way, as all the things you needed to interact with were on the desk.
There might be a backup somewhere, but since we had the console, it was never something I went looking for.
If you’re looking for more information, I think this was the Aptiva S. Aptiva more generically covered a wide range of IBM PCs from that era.
