He should have been fucking FIRED.
Well, I’m sure he appreciates that this was consensual.
He should have been fucking GAOLED.
Commentator: “GAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL!!!”
Has there ever been a more obvious outcome?
Obvious would have been if they kicked him out immediately after the kiss.
That really took longer than it should’ve. I would love to be a fly on the wall of the conversation that finally convinced/force him to resign.
“Do it”
“No!”
“Do it!”
“No!”
“My friends cousins nephews former roommate will hook you up with a cushy job in a few weeks once this has blown over”
“I’m stepping down”
Finally. eyeroll
I bet after they offered him a juicey severance package he was like… well ok.
Fuck. Him.
Did this story really need to ping my phone on a Sunday evening as breaking news?
Why do you have notifications for “breaking news” turned on? Which app do you use? Sounds like a you problem
The BBC news app.
I have breaking news notifications turned on to give me notifications on breaking news.
Then why are you posting here complaining about alerts YOU have setup on an other app?
Well the alert came up. Then browsing Lemmy I see the same story so thought I’d comment and see if anyone felt the same. Clearly not. BBC articles don’t allow commenting any more either.
The BBC has gotten silly with their breaking news notifications in recent weeks.
BBC abuses the hell out of that feature. They’ve pinged phones for much less than this in the past.
