Trump’s statements ambiguously suggest that those peacefully protesting against Tesla and Elon Musk could be targeted.

(not so) fun fact: Tesla also provides insurance for their cars.
And you know what even comprehensive car insurance doesn’t have to cover?
    Damage from terrorist acts.
So by declaring all attacks on Tesla cars terrorism, Tesla can deny coverage.

“No, the car didn’t just catch fire from a defective battery. You’ve been hit by. You’ve been struck by. A smooth criminal.”

Yes, and people who smashed a car mirror will go to prison for 20 years as collatoral damage.

Vandalism goes from misdemeanor to 20 years in prison means people will do something worth 20 years of prison. Maybe take up plumbing.

Well, that clearly shows how shit-scared Trump is at any gesture of defiance.

And the more excessive the sentence, the more likely jury nullification will occur.

I would be proud to serve on a jury about Tesla vandalism.

Can vandalism be proven? Yes. Do I consider it an act of terrorism? No.

      Therefore, I’d vote not guilty.

Bruh break up the protests all you want, Tesla is absolutely fucked. They have virtually no path to success beyond Tesla replacing Ford for all federal work vehicles, and that just ain’t happening for logistics reasons (recalls, Charging infrastructure, etc)

The brand is on fire, and Elon is kerosene.

They can oust him and the flame may burn slower but ultimately… They’re cooked. I would be surprised to see Tesla not getting absorbed by ExxonMobile or something in the next 5 to 10 years.

Yeah, I was watching an interview with an analyst who was kind of bearish on Tesla. He made the point that while the damaged Tesla cars don’t help, they really aren’t a significant factor driving this. Even if they stop that, it’s not going to fix much. Tesla is not well positioned to appeal to conservatives. You can’t take a brand which you’ve spent years building and then make the thing highly unappealing to your core market without losing a lot.

He also pointed out that Tesla’s physical locations are not located to serve conservatives. Some of that is due to legal restrictions in some states that dealerships got put in place prohbiting Tesla-style direct sales. But regardless of the reason, if you’re in rural State X in the Great Plains, the nearest Tesla location may be a state-and-a-half away.

If Tesla wanted to do some huge realignment, they probably should have had those physical locations up and running ahead of time.

    What Tesla sabatours?

Sorry, I was there, they all spontaneously caught fire out of being poorly built junkers. All of them. Everywhere they caught fire.

especially the ones that caught fire after a Tesla humanoid Robot clearly must have graffitid “Musk is a Nazi” on them.

Lol, you doomers have already resigned yourselves to the fact that Trump isn’t going to give up the seat. My dude, he did last time and he will this time. Even Republicans wouldn’t allow it to happen. You guys are pathetic.

“Last time” Trump demanded of his VP to declare the vote count invalid. When his VP wasn’t about to do that, he had a mob storm capitol hill. Now, how likely do you think is the possibility JD Vance will would do what Mike Pence did? The only way for him to screw over his boss is if he thinks he will replace him. Which he might, and then everyone is going to wish Trump was still in charge.

Vance won’t do it and even if he would Congress would send the military to intervene. The Constitution will stand. Watch.

The military will not let the president override the Constitution of the United States The military serves the people and the Constitution not the president. They would never go to war within the US. Won’t happen no matter how much you doomers want to sit here and cry about it.
