    It’s more complex than that.

    In the real world we’re not all working on the same assignment…even if it feels like it sometimes.

      It’s also that the thing being copied is generally not the whole thing. I might copy a helper function of StackOverflow that’s 10 line long, to play a role in a much, much larger project that is doing something completely different than the person who asked the original question. And the majority is quite unique.
