    I don’t think community links work on Lemmy yet. You can link to a community on an instance, say https://lemmy.ca/c/newbrunswick but that messes things up for users on instances other than lemmy.ca.

    If you’re on mobile, the best way to add a community would be to go to your instance on a web browser and search for the community using the syntax I used in the post (example: !newbrunswick@lemmy.ca)

    I don’t think you can browse to a community page you’re not already subscribed to in Jerboa, or at least I haven’t figured it out.

    EDIT: It seems [any text](/c/name@instance) works, for example:
