City of Chicago is 22,000 police officers short of full enforcement. That means the good ones have left and they can’t fire the bad ones, and they pay ridiculous salaries because nobody wants to be a cop. That song ain’t called “fuck the firemen”
Toyota is one of the largest auto makers in the history of the world. They’re practically their own government, and have more than enough money bankroll a burgeoning technology tree. To say they fucked up by testing a brand new technology and developing it in-house, seemingly on their own until recently (BMW and Mercedes have both joined Toyota in their development process within the last 5 years) is bonkers.
Any new technology or idea generally has a long road to maturity. You wouldn’t say the quest for quantum computing or the unified field theory are complete wastes of time and money when we’re discovering things along the way. Hydrogen may not work out for your consumer vehicle, but it absolutely works better than electric for those trans-oceanic container ships and shooting rockets to the moon.
Based on what?
There was a South Park episode and everything!
You’ve been had. I love that I can hear your heartbeat go up in your response. You’re a clown 🤡
Please learn to be less of a cunt. “Russia will become a nuclear hole.” And since you like downvotes, here’s yours.
So you first advocate for nuclear weapons to be used, and then you say just kill Putin. I’m not sure how the last sentence excuses the other sentence
Don’t tempt me with a good time
Nah man. Nobody wants that. Are you willing to let it be you that gets nuked? Your family, your children, your home?
Ain’t that the truth. We could’ve just been naked eating fruit and making art all day, but instead we have anxiety and loans.
I think you are vastly overestimating the productivity of renewables right now. They are a smart investment to augment what we have, but to take non-renewables offline and to build enough renewables to reach the levels of modern nuclear, we will need an additional decade… Assuming the tech in renewables continues to make massive gains. There just aren’t enough skilled workers, and you can’t run these people non-stop to produce enough windmills to meet demand.
Renewables are only 20% of the US total, nuclear is 18% (and the US is the highest producer of nuclear worldwide at 30% of the world’s total), and the remaining ~60% is fossil fuels.
It takes 6 years on a fast paced build. If we had started when we knew of the problem, we could have avoided some of the problem. It is the only energy source we can scale up in that way, however. Every other energy source takes longer for less yield with current technology.

Seriously… It isn’t that hard to use painter’s tape
I’m going to wait and see if Toyota’s alleged 1450km/900mi solid state battery is real. It is rare for Toyota to tell the public what they’re working on until it’s ready to roll. This could be a ploy to lower sales of competitors, but if Toyota isn’t telling the truth, it will bite them. I’d love a small EV with that kind of insane range and the ability to use autonomous driving on interstates
Can someone copy/paste it? I refuse to visit Reddit and give them views.
Does it not add to your history so you can search sketchy or embarrassing things? I never thought they weren’t tracking my rewatches of BLACK MEAT ANAL HEAT 6, just that the phrase wouldn’t show up in my search history or recently visited. I’m not going to NOT rewatch a classic like that, but I don’t need it popping up in my history when I’m about to give a presentation
That is wildly inaccurate and you know it. There are like 6.5 million articles on Wikipedia and the majority (since people are pedantic, we’ll say 50.1%) are well cited and accurate
