I have commited the Num-Code for ™ to muscle memory.
Other interests include bicycles, bread making and DIY. I do own a 3D-printer and adore the Nintendo 3ds.

I very specifically said about this case only, a fine is appropriate.
Can you explain how my comment would read as “defacing anything ever should result only in fines”?
Do we really need people to look down on that much that it warrants these comments? Don’t get me wrong, he is a jerk and behaves like a teenager while 65, but people here act like he jumped a barrier to shit in a millenia old sarcophagus instead of pressing his thumb into 100 year old wood. I think I may have done worse at my old school.
This site’s against a police state, but wants the government to crack down on this nuisance with all its might. We’re against Religion, but Japan’s emperor cult is sacred. Throw molotovs into governmental buildings, but don’t you dare touch this wooden arch.
Just let him pay the fine, have the sites insurance cover restoration, big whoop.
“Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?”
It might just be my personal experience, but I am German and my personal birth rate has been steady all my life.
To add anything of substance here, there’s a good ol Kurzgesagt video on this. TLDW: Global phenomenon, hard to predict, just investing more money on parents and their needs has been tried and did not really work. Governments should still try to ease the burden of new parents because Jesus Christ they have it hard enough.
Somewhere else I heard that maybe our pessimistic look at the future is to blame and we should try to spread optimism more (or lay the foundation for a better future so people can actually be optimistic), but that’s less well researched. Not least because optimism isn’t easily quantifiable.
Let the language which is without sin cast the first stone.
I like the Rock of Ages 2&3 soundtracks myself. Classic music transformed into video game ost is fun.
Also works for the other kind of courting.
Rice Burritos
3 minutes of vegetable peeling while the water starts to boil, 10 minutes of unsupervised boiling, maybe 5 minutes stirring. You only need to clean 1 pot, and it’s cheap.
I have nothing but contempt for this business model.
Well, that’s a new thought. Donating blood is necessary, so we get paid by the Red Cross to do it, in money or a small meal. But the Red Cross then immediately upsells that blood to the hospitals that need it. In a sense, we are exploited workers without a contract.
The real reason donating blood is unethical is because we cannot unionize.
All he had to go off was a vehicle with 2 teenagers inside and the call from his girlfriend that there were trespassers on the property. Depending on what exactly was said on the call and what happened between him blocking the vehicle in and the shot, he might just have shit trigger discipline and his girlfriend is the one who is super scared of anyone she sees on their security cameras. He is still an idiot for trying to block their vehicle in any case though.
A few years back, I would have said that they are trying to uphold the image of democracy. “Vote for Harris, a guy you’ve never heard of or this criminal, your choice” isn’t a good look… sad that we ended up here anyway.
Probably also trying to avoid the headache of “what happens when a candidate is sent to prison”. That’s either going to be a lot of work for you or someone you know higher up, who isn’t going to like that paperwork, especially such a high profile case.
Maybe because you stole Gods own stock photos.
Says right there: “@alla(h)”. This is your divine punishment, repent sinner!
Serra would sell bathwater and have Erk be her camera man.
we’ve decided to waive our right to arbitration
That’s legalese for “We still think that we have that right, we will use it again”.
I like your funny words, magic man!
Always in favor of taking power from mods that they can abuse and simply do not need.
The 1 “You think you can come into MY instance, and downvote ME?” post I read was 1 too many.
Are you sure about that? If there are things I know about the solar system, it’s that the distance between planets is massive and earth weighs nothing compared to the outer planets or the sun.
That earth like rogue planet needs to be like 1/500th of the distance to the sun to have an comparable gravitational pull (sun is 333000 heavier, sqrt is 577), and I’m not a astronomer but I believe for each planet a random number between 0 and 2 solar distances that the rogue planet passes the orbit is appropriate. So like, 1/1000 chance a planet gets seriously disturbed…
I’m gonna be honest I thought this would be way lower before I calculated.
I would never generalize a religion that much, especially when I don’t know anyone who does practice it or has to live under it. When all you have is how it is represented, you tend to idolize it and miss the practical aspects of the faith, like how hating gays and abortions isn’t explicitly in the bible yet those are more important aspects to Christianity in practice than Sola Fide.
I learned my lesson after reading about Buddhism in Myanmar, if you say it’s just about respect and balance, I don’t believe you.
